Merry & Bright Christmas Lightbulb Cookies

Ho Ho Ho, it’s almost that time! I’ll admit I don’t have direct line to Santa, just don’t tell my children that ok. They are totally still buying the I’m about to text Santa gig mmk? But I’m willing to bet he is gearing up for the big day about this time. Packing the sled, building his cookie tolerance with  hourly rounds of cookies, and of course that list needs to be checked, and checked again. Not to mention the well oiled machine the elves are, totally keeping things smooth. But the real star I’m sue is Mrs. Claus who’s cranking out those cookies like no other. Which brings meet wonder…what does her kitchen look like?! The holidays aren’t going quite as smooth for our family this year, on top of all the hustle and bustle I’m not feeling so great. It’s practically a tradition to get sick over Christmas around here so I’m a little strung up right now. But I still wanted to check in and send a little inspiration + holiday greetings your way with these Christmas Light Bulb Cookies

I originally made my first set of sprinkle covered light bulb cookies a few years ago and this year I thought I would bring them back as teacher gifts in all of my favorite colors. Because Christmas should always be Merry + Bright…and covered in icing. They are so simple to make but they really do brighten up a day. Especially if your a teacher and your practically counting the seconds till holiday break.
